 4.5 Million Children have benefitted from Polio immunisations as a result of Peace One Day agreements in Afghanistan in 2007 - 10.

The Global Truce Campaign is an opportunity for UN agencies and NGO's to focus their ongoing life-saving activities within a glocal context. Peace One Day is more than symobolic.
